REPORTING INCIDENTS / INJURIES

INTRODUCTION

Accidents in the workplace happen from time to time.  Most workers either have seen one or know someone who was involved in a workplace accident.  You may have even had an accident at work.

Often, after the incident investigation is completed, lessons are learned on how the accident could have been prevented.

There is a proven, effective way to prevent accidents.  It's called pro-active safety.  This training module will show you several pro-active safety techniques.

Pro-active safety is a way of acting to stop accidents before they occur.  It consists of knowing the facts about preventing accidents and then practicing them.

It is a condition of your employment to work safe and report hazards, close-calls and no matter how minor all injuries. Report injuries immediately to your supervisor so that proper medical attention can be given.
